Dr. Emma Barber is the John and Ruth Brewer Professor of Gynecology and Cancer Research at Northwestern University, the Division Chief of Gynecologic Oncology, and Director of Robotic Surgery for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a gynecologic oncologist, clinical trialist and health services researcher. Her research focuses on improving the quality of life and survival of patients with gynecologic cancers by mitigating the toxicity of cancer treatments. |
Elizabeth Cathcart-Rake, MD
Dr. Elizabeth Cathcart-Rake is an Associate Professor of Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, specializing in the treatment of breast cancer. Dr. Cathcart-Rake's research and clinical work focuses on ways to prevent and treat the acute and long-term effects of cancer treatments, including alopecia, neuropathy, and anxiety, in order to support the quality of life of cancer survivors. In addition, she aims to improve inequities in care facing LGBT+ individuals with cancer, particularly gender diverse individuals diagnosed with endocrine sensitive malignancies.
